BMD Cloud: Connecting your iPad or iPhone

1. Connecting via VPN (Ceckpoint Capsule) on your iPad or iPhone

Download the current VPN client for the BMD Cloud environment from the App Store:

Check Point Capsule Connect

After installing the app, tap on “Manual Connection”:

Server name: shield-linz.bmd.com

Display name: BMD-Cloud-AT

Once you tap on “Create”, the site is created. Select “Trust” for the following certificate:

Now, you can select the authentication mode. Tap on “Certificate” and enter the reg key you were provided with (if you have not yet received the key, please contact the BMD tech team at technik@bmd.at).

After you successfully entered the key, enrolling starts:

After that, the site has been created and can be selected:

Tap on “Connect” in the next window to establish the connection:

2. Connecting via Parallels Client on your iPad or iPhone

Download the current Parallels Client from the App Store:

After installing the app, you have to download the settings from the BMD FTP server and import them.

To do this, download the following file on your iPad or iPhone:

https://ftp.bmd.com/BMD-Cloud/mac-osx/Parallels-Client-Settings-MacOSX-BMD-Cloud-AT.2xc

Afterwards, you can establish the connection using the connection “BMD-Cloud-AT”, which you created before.

When the settings have been imported successfully, you have to define the respective username:
