Permissions for BMD clients

In order for BMD Client to work properly with regular user permissions, you have to grant the following permissions on the workstation.

1. BMD NTCS

Go to the directory "C:\ProgramData\”. Then right-click on the folder BMD NTCS and in the tab ‘Security’ allow permission to ‘Modify’ for the group ‘Users’.
 

This ensures that automatic synchronization after a BMD NTCS update on the server works. All files needed for operating BMD NTCS are saved in this directory.

2. BMD Netspeed

Go to the directory "C:\programData\BMDClients". Then right-click on the folder of the Netspeed Client and in the tab ‘Security’ allow permission to ‘Modify’ for the group ‘Users’.
 

This ensures that automatic synchronization after a BMD 5.5 update on the server works. All files needed for operating BMD Netspeed are saved in this directory.
