BMD Go inventory is a modern solution for recording and managing inventory data. There are specific technical requirements that must be met in order to use this application effectively. These concern both the infrastructure for the web server and the mobile endpoint devices used for the inventory.
You need a web server that meets the general technical System requirements for BMD Web applications to implement BMD Go inventory. These requirements ensure smooth functionality and fast processing of the inventory data.
In addition to the general server requirements, you also have to make sure that the specific System requirements: BMD apps are met. These relate in particular to the compatibility of the mobile applications with the operating systems of the smartphones that are used for the inventory.
When using BMD Go inventory, it is essential that the smartphone is connected to the internet during the inventory. This way, the recorded data can be transmitted to the web server in real time, ensuring immediate processing and analysis of the data. There are currently no plans for offline recording with subsequent synchronisation of the data, as this could compromise the efficiency and accuracy of the inventory processes.
