<h3>BMD Web payroll portal: password query</h3>
<div>If the BMD Web payroll portal is run with the BMD NTCS file system, the documents of the payroll portal are stored in the specified file system. Of course, they can be password-protected documents. </div><div><br></div><div>The documents can be viewed in the payroll portal. A special password logic has recently been implemented so that the user does not have to enter their password if they access their data via the payroll portal, since they have already logged in to the payroll portal. For the "NTCS file system" operation type, the password currently stored for the employee is now used to open the document in the background so that the protected document can be displayed. This works as long as the password for reading/opening the employee is not changed. For this type of operation, the password is not saved when creating documents.</div><div><br></div><div>For the "NTCS database" company type, the password for reading is saved in encrypted form. The documents can be opened directly via the payroll portal. </div><div><br></div><div>The main advantage of the operation type "BMD NTCS database" compared to the standard file system "BMD NTCS file system" is the better protection of documents from external unauthorised access to the data directory. Since the documents are saved in the document pool in the BMD NTCS database with this form of data source, they are better protected because no specific network directory is used. </div><div><br></div>
