<div>In the year 2026, the limits for  68 2 EStG are reduced again compared to the previous year, which is to be taken into account when paying out overtime. </div><div><br></div><div>In the program "Employee", there is the field "Salary method" in the tab "Miscellaneous". In the year 2026, the field with the following options is available:</div><ul><li>-<br></li><li>Use legal values  68 (2 from 2025</li></ul><div>If you select the second option, you can use the old legal values of the year 2025 for  68 (2 in the year 2026.<br><br>With finalisation in the year 2026, the value is always changed to "-".<br><br>When changing the year, the value is also changed to "-" again if a different setting is set.<br><br>This field is available in the master employee index on the list of relevant employees.<br><br> <strong>Caution!</strong> <br>The overtime template 2999 does not react to this field and splits the salary types according to the currently valid legal values. If overtime is (settled) paid out for the previous year and  68 (2 is to be applied according to the logic applicable in the year 2025, then the overtime salary types are manual without the overtime template. <br><br>With the function "Adapt previous year's average basis  68 (2) for 2026" in the program "Gross entry" via the menu "Extras", it is possible to automatically adjust the average base values of the system salary types for  68 (2) in the year 2025 for 2026 according to the new legal values  68. This can be opened for each EC company.</div><div><br></div>
