Industry examples
Wholesale
In the case of the foodstuff wholesale industry, customer orders are taken on either Order Files on the telephone. Order Files can be created in BMD Form Generator. The customer navigator can be used to access deliveries, customer specific prices and discounts and user friendly and quick order creation.
Supplier orders can be recorded using an MDE-Device and transferred automatically to the order system.
The customer invoice (generally department stores and supermarkets) can be transferred electronically via XML.
Construction Material & Hardware Store Industry
The construction material industry not only needs a cash system, it generally also necessitates a feature to follow up products on delivery note; to create an order to be paid in cash at the shop. So as not to lose track, the BMD-Cash System will allow access to order editing and vice-versa.
Useful features, such as receipt in cache memory or article registering with preview are also included. A sophisticated access system will restrict user rights as required.
BMD-Cash Systems generally operate as PC Cash Systems with connected cash drawer, customer display, receipt and label printer, as well as scanners (table and hand scanners) MDE-Devices, Bankcards and special keyboards (e.g. with integrated card reader for time recording within the shop). Other forms, such as a complete cash system or touch screen systems are also available.
Cleaning Companies
Maintain a clear view of scheduled assignments. Create an assignment once to produce a weekly work order for every cleaning assignment. Additional positions for maintenance cleaning can be created at a later stage. Services will then be charged based on BMD-Service Entry time recording or as a flat rate.
Staff-Leasing Company
A perfect mix of service entry and order administration. The main focus is set on a single process entry. Service entry booking will subsequently generate customer charging and wage accounting.
Production Companies
Companies involved in the production industry require a schedule to merge planning with demand for products tob e manufactured just in time. A delivery tour plan including dangerous good declaration will be created automatically.
Pharmacy Companies
The Pharmacy industry will agree that it is mandatory to match pharmaceuticals with charge numbers and expiry date.
Forwarding Companies
Organize your orders using document covers, which can be printed using BMDCommerce. All evaluations and individual tour charging can also be managed in BMDCommerce.
Companies with Cash Systems
Orders created at the cashier can be completed with either part-delivery or part-payment. Payment with customer card and respective statistics are standard features within the BMD-Cash System.
